NATO Commander pays tribute to Afghanistan’s team heading to the Invictus Games

A torch lighting ceremony has been held in Kabul to honour Afghanistan's team due to participate in the Invictus Games in Toronto (23 – 30 September 2017). The team of seven will compete with injured military personnel from around the world. The commander of NATO's Resolute Support Mission, General John W. Nicholson, said the team of Afghans "represent a better future."
