Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg outlined NATO's crucial role in preserving peace and stability in a keynote address at the Rimini Meeting in Italy on Thursday (24 August 2017). The Secretary General delivered his remarks at a session titled: "From North to South: Defence and Peace in the World", alongside Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano and Secretary of State Nicola Renzi of San Marino.
