NATO Secretary General stresses value of transatlantic bond

In a keynote speech at the German Marshall Fund in Brussels on Friday (18 November 2016), NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg outlined the fundamental connection between the transatlantic bond and European security. He stressed that Europe must do more for its defence and security, including through increasing defence spending and strengthening cooperation between NATO and the European Union.
