Army Command Sgt. Maj. John W. Troxell convened the 2016 Defense Senior Enlisted Council at the Pentagon. Troxell, the senior enlisted advisor to Marine Corps Gen. Joe Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said this is the only time of the year that the top noncommissioned officers in the department meet.
