Timothy Payne, a medically retired Army staff sergeant who lost his legs and received other severe injuries due to a bomb explosion in Afghanistan in July 2011, will be among more than 500 other disabled athletes from 15 nations competing at the Invictus Games held May 8-12, 2016, in Orlando, Florida.
